Delton Fire Department is responsible for fire suppression and prevention, technical and water rescue, and hazardous materials (ops) within the 56 square miles encompassing the Village of Lake Delton, Town of Delton, Ho-Chunk Nation Tribe, and the eastern half of the Town of Dellona.
DFD firefighters respond to a high number of emergency calls and up to 360 annual calls for service, making the department the most active within its region. With its members and volunteers at the heart of its existence, the Delton Fire Department works hard to put people first, pursue excellence, embrace change, and serve its community.
