Bill DeAngelis is a Business Development Manager for HP Inc.’s GCP Graphics Solutions Business in North America, covering both the Upper Midwest and Southeast Regions.
In 2011, Bill left HP to work with several companies that utilized the print produced on the HP Indigo presses, one being self-publishing pioneer Lulu.com and the other being one of the primary photo book and photo specialty manufacturers, ColorCentric Corp. Both of these stints allowed Bill to work directly with some of the biggest names in professional sports and entertainment on how they could utilize products produced by the HP technology to better communicate and interact with their fans and customers.
Bill also worked as part of the Executive Management teams for two commercial printers in Southeast Michigan educating, promoting and developing high value data driven marketing campaigns utilizing HP’s Indigo and Ink Jet digital print technologies.
Bill recently moved to Bluffton, South Carolina with his family where his hobbies include golf, shuttling around his two sons and staying out of the way of hurricanes that occasionally pop up along the coast.
Chris Hofmann is VP of Digital Services at SeQuel Response, a fast-growing direct response agency based in Minneapolis. SeQuel Response has been named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies and made the Minneapolis/Saint Paul Business Journal’s Fast 50 list as one the fastest growing private companies in the state for three years in a row. Chris is a University of Wisconsin graduate with more than 20 years experience in marketing both on the client and agency sides of the business.
Arik has worked for HP since 2004 as part of the new Israel ink Plant certification team, building their processes, hiring employees, and managing the production ramp-up. Arik served as a project manager responsible for the implementation of a new Indigo press manufacturing technology. He has worked for HP WWTS (worldwide technical support) in the training center where he was responsible for certifications of WW Field Service Engineers, and design and development of new Indigo training courses. Arik relocated to the US in 2015 to work at the Alpharetta training center to support and train field engineers and customers, mainly on series 4 products. He then joined the HP CSM (Customer Success Manager) program serving the Midwest region. Arik has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Jerusalem College of Engineering.
When Julie first saw Indigo digital print technology, she knew right away that she had to learn everything about it. So, it’s no surprise that she has worked with Indigo equipment for over 20 years, specifically with advising clients with variable data and digital front-end efficiencies. Additionally, she has a high level of color management skills to assist with achieving desired color results. Julie has diverse interests in both her professional and personal life, including her two daughters, reading, the outdoors, and being a travel softball mom.
Tom’s mission is to make print more than just a way to convey information. He wants to transform it into a force that motivates individuals toward a specific action.
As an Account Executive, Tom has honed his skills by using analogies and stories to convey a message and make complex ideas seem simple. He has embraced the idea of demystifying variable data and helping companies understand how to incorporate it into their marketing messages. During his 35 years in the industry, Tom has been a leader on many projects to re-engineer corporations’ print messaging to be more effective and affordable. In one project, he created a new process and changed a large insurance company’s member communication. The change saved the company $1.2 million per year, while improving the effectiveness of the correspondence by 26 percent.
Tom has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from UW-Whitewater, and lives in Appleton, Wisconsin, where he pursues his second passion—mastering the art of catching walleye.
In her role at GPA, Trina helps customers and their clients develop greater innovation and accelerate their marketing efforts. She leverages her agency experience, background in graphic design, and more than 20 years of developing and managing GPA’s corporate marketing programs to create personalized solutions to help differentiate their business. Trina provides market intelligence, strategic resources, and actionable ideas that facilitate growth and drive greater engagement. With her firsthand knowledge of the graphic arts industry, combined with insights from the evolving marketing landscape, Trina identifies what success looks like for each client and proposes innovative programs and marketing initiatives that target their goals and vision.
As a Business Development Manager at GPA, Trish Maulson offers a powerful blend of strategic, hands-on product knowledge with a keen understanding of the trends shaping the graphic arts industry. She works side by side with her clients, ensuring that they have access to the information and product innovation they need to make each project a success. With 26 years of experience in different facets of the graphic arts industry, Trish focuses her experience, passion, and expertise on helping her clients grow their businesses.
Ron Brunette, field representative for the Midwest region, joined the Orbus team two years ago. He quickly ascended to an outside sales role due to his passion for meeting people. He loves traveling and is motivated by clients’ stories coming alive with quality displays.
